HEAD & SHOULDERS BARE LAUNCH campaign
Head & Shoulders shampoo is known for effectively controlling dandruff — not so much for being eco-friendly or natural. So when they launched a new line of shampoos with only 9 simple ingredients and a lightweight less-plastic bottle, it had to look very different from what shoppers were used to. The addition of a new brand color and a strikingly minimalism aesthetic did the trick to alert shoppers to something new and interesting, while remaining recognizable as their trusted brand.
Our Walmart launch included in-store displays, digital billboards around Northwest Arkansas (Walmart HQ), and a memorable experiential booth at the retailer’s annual Associates Week event to drum up excitement internally. Most memorable was the giant larger-than-life-sized BARE eco-bottle the team built from scratch, shown in its empty, rolled-up form to bring to life the key 45% less plastic claim.
