Fly to Fight Sepsis Website

Sepsis is a leading killer of children worldwide, but many Americans haven’t heard of it. And the real tragedy? The majority of sepsis deaths can be prevented with early recognition and rapid treatment. Roche Diagnostics wanted to help save lives with their new test that can help detect sepsis early on. So they partnered with the Rory Staunton Foundation, a nonprofit founded by the parents of a young boy who died from sepsis just days after falling and scraping his arm in gym class.

The foundation already had a logo and tagline, “Fly to Fight Sepsis,” inspired by their son’s love of airplanes. We wrote and designed a microsite that leveraged their existing assets, while creating an informative and emotionally driven experience that encouraged users to share the signs of sepsis, and ultimately, know when to ask their healthcare provider the critical question, “could this be sepsis?”
